GIFT POLICY

The Chattanooga VIM clinic is a faith based organization with the mission of serving Hamilton County residents who meet VIM eligibility requirements. The clinic does not accept or solicit funds from any government agency or funds derived from the collection of taxes. In a case where the clinic is offered 'In kind gifts' (e.g. surplus property, supplies, etc from government agencies) the board will work with the agency to establish an agreed value to be paid for the property/supplies provided. Any funds/gifts deemed to be uncertain to origin may be accepted by a 2/3 vote of the full board membership. The board also reserves the right to reject funds/gifts from businesses, foundations and individuals whose stated policies or values are determined to be in conflict with the faith-based principals of VIM.
