MISSION AND VISION

Volunteers in Medicine Chattanooga, Inc. (VIM Chattanooga) is a full-service medical clinic that opened its doors on May 5, 2005. It provides primary and preventative health care to  financially eligible individuals of Hamilton and surrounding counties in Tennessee and Georgia. These patients otherwise have no access to public or private health insurance. The clinic is in the 5900 Building, Suite 1400, in Eastgate, next door to the Eastgate Library.

Dr. Jack McConnell, with roots in Chattanooga, developed the concept and opened the original VIM location in 1992 in Hilton Head Island, SC.
